Varazze is a seaside resort in the province of Savona, in Liguria, on the Riviera delle Palme, awarded several times with the Blue Flag by the FEE Italy. A town that is suitable for both family tourism and groups of friends who enjoy water sports, Varazze is in fact considered one of the best surf surfing spots. The coast is narrow and long and mostly given in concession to the bathing establishments. The beach shore of Varazze is composed of fine-grained sand with a light color; in some stretches of coast the sand is mixed with gravel and there are creeks made up of cliffs used both as fishing posts and as a support point to relax away from the chaos of the beaches. Find out more about the beaches of Varazze: – Piani d'Invrea beach – Levante beach Teiro and Ponente beach Teiro – Arrestra beach Varazze has a large port, Marina di Varazze, which can accommodate up to 800 boats. Here you will be able to rent boats to make some trips and admire the Riviera delle Palme from the sea. Dog-Friendly: the Varazze beach accessible to dogs is called Varazze Bau Beach and is located at the Nautilus Baths where there is an area dedicated to our four-legged friends. A curiosity: in Varazze in 1887 one of the first bathing establishments in Italy was born in honor of Queen Margherita of Savoy.
