Sapri beach

The beach of Sapri has been considered for years one of the best beaches in the Campania region, as shown by the numerous Blue Flags assigned to it not only for the cleaning of the sea and beaches but also for the accessibility and the many services offered to tourists. Sapri was also awarded the Green Flag by Italian pediatricians for beaches suitable for families with children. Sapri is a wonderful seaside resort in Cilento, the last one before entering the Lucanian territory, and shares with the neighboring towns of Palinuro and Marina di Camerota : crystal clear waters and enchanting beaches of sand mixed with pebbles and gravel. The beach is narrow and crescent-shaped and ends with the Tourist Port where it will be possible to rent boats to visit the whole bay. The central beach is the most frequented and there are numerous bathing establishments where you can rent equipment for relaxing on the beach or water sports equipment. To the north, in the direction of Villammare di Vibonati, there is the Cammarelle beach ( or Camarelle ), also awarded with the FEE Blue Flag. DOG-FRIENDLY : the beach accessible to Sapri dogs is located in the locality of Brizzi, at the mouth of the stream of the same name and not far from the tourist port of the town of Campania.
