Rodi Garganico beach
Green Flag 2019

The beach of Rodi Garganico is one of the most famous in the territory of the Gargano National Park, in Puglia. It stands on a rocky promontory not far from Lake Varano . The entire area is known for the production of citrus fruits such as the Gargano oranges and the Femminello lemons. Rodi Garganico is a charming seaside resort that has been repeatedly awarded by the Foundation for environmental education with the Blue Flag in addition to the Green Flag by Italian paediatricians for beaches suitable for families with children. The beach is several kilometers long and is composed of light sand of fine grain size, lapped by a sea with not very deep turquoise reflections. Just move away from the historic center of the Apulian town to immerse yourself in unspoiled nature with olive groves and pine trees that frame the landscape. The beaches of Peschici and Lido del Sole are within easy reach. The most famous beaches of Rodi Garganico are: – the Levante Beach ; – the Spiaggia di Ponente (frequented by those who practice Surf); – the Due Pini Beach .
