It is composed of fine dark sand mixed with pebbles and rocks, the crystal clear sea has the thousand shades of blue, the shallow and pebbly bottom gently slopes down, making this beach very suitable for families with children and less experienced swimmers. This beach, for the purity of the waters, for the quality of the services and the beauty of the area has conquered the much coveted Blue Flag . In summer, it is possible to find Posidonia, both beached and at sea. Behind the beach rises a small cliff, a very beautiful promenade decorated with many palm trees, and then the village. The marina can accommodate up to 140 small boats. The beach is divided into free beach and beach areas with bathing establishments and the possibility of renting sun beds and umbrellas, and being located near the town center there are all the services available: bars, restaurants, hotels and shops of all kinds and for every need. The beach is almost always very crowded, and in July and August it is difficult to find a place to lie in the sun. The walk along the seafront, up to Santo Stefano, is beautiful and really deserves. There is also a cycle path, built on the old railway line, which is no longer in use. Dedicated to sportsmen and kitesurf lovers, the launch corridor in Don, with special nautical signs. Due to the quality of its territory, the area lends itself to water sports, fishing, cycling and hiking.
