Populonia is a town on the Etruscan Coast famous above all for the presence of one of the largest necropolis in the world. Among the most beautiful beaches in Tuscany are in this area: the Gulf of Baratti and the Buca delle Fate. The latter is a cliff composed of flat stones on which it is possible to lie down.
