The beaches of Pittulongu are located in the homonymous seaside village of Olbia, also known as Lido di Pittulongu, on the north-eastern coast of Sardinia, in Gallura . Pittulongu is a town frequented above all by the Olbies, seen as being close to the city, about eight kilometers, and in the immediate vicinity of its beaches there are numerous accommodation facilities such as hotels, airbnb and bed and breakfast. The beaches are wide and composed of fine-grained white sand and bathed in a crystalline sea with a color ranging from the turquoise of the shore to the cobalt blue of the open sea. Among its beaches we should mention: La Playa Beach, the main beach of Pittulongu as well as the longest and busiest of the Sardinian town, the Squalo Beach, the Pellicano Beach divided by a cliff from the Sea and Rocks Beach and the Bados Beach . All the Pittulongu beaches mentioned above are mostly free, however there are some sections given in concession to the bathing establishments where you can rent equipment for the sea such as sunbeds, deckchairs and umbrellas. You can also rent equipment to practice water sports such as windsurfing or small boats to take a boat trip and explore the coast: Tavolara Island in the first place given the proximity. The seabed is low and gently sloping down to become deep away from the shore, it is therefore a place suitable for those who have children or who are unfamiliar with swimming. Even snorkelers and scuba divers will be able to appreciate this stretch of the Sardinian coast because so many species of flora and fauna reside there that you can admire with a mask and snorkel.

Spiaggia ampia e ben tenuta.
