Passoscuro beach
Fiumicino, RM
27°
The Passoscuro beach, also known as Passo Oscuro, is located in the Fiumicino area between Marina di Palidoro and Fregene, a few kilometers from Rome to the north of the Roman coast natural state reserve . The beach is wide and long, composed of fine golden sand and well distributed between the free beach and managed by the beach establishments; at the latter you can rent equipment to relax on the sand, participate in group events or play beach volleyball and beach tennis. The seabed is low and sloping, suitable for those who are unfamiliar with swimming like children . The beach of Passoscuro is also frequented by lovers of water sports such as surfing and kitesurfing : it is in fact a spot where it is possible, especially away from the summer months, to have fun with one's table (alternatively you can rent one and take lessons at the Passoscuro kitesurf school). A curiosity: the Passoscuro beach was chosen as the location for the final scene of Federico Fellini's La dolce vita . DOG-FRIENDLY: you can lead your dogs in the section accessible to four-legged friends located on the border between Passoscuro and Palidoro.
