The Paestum beach is one of the most popular in the Campania region in the municipality of Capaccio. This seaside resort has its roots in Greek history, in fact near the beach you can admire the temples built in the golden age of Magna Grecia in the Archaeological Park of Paestum . The beach is composed of fine golden sand, about ten kilometers long and lapped by a crystalline sea with low seabeds. You can either relax under the beach umbrella rented at the beach establishments in the area, or stop on the free beach that is never too crowded. The Paestum beach is part of the Cilento coast and is frequented by tourists of all ages and backgrounds, indicated above all for families with children. Of particular beauty: the sand dunes that separate the beach from the coast; they are rich in Mediterranean-type vegetation where the sea lilies with their pure white color stand out.
