The beach is surrounded by a lush pine forest that offers some shade during the hottest hours of the day. The beach has a sandy composition even if there are small stretches of gravel and pebbles.
The seabed gently slopes down, making it safe to swim in the sea even for inexperienced swimmers.

Dopo anni torno oggi 2 giugno 2021 con tanta tristezza nel cuore. Pineta sporca e la spiaggia, inesistente, tenuta solo per il bagni a pagamento mentre quelle libere sono sporche, piene di detriti e prive di sabbia bensì sassi, che non puoi camminare scalza! Che schifo che il comune tralasci così le spiagge libere. Per me possono chiudere perché non verrò più qui alla Mazzanta!!!
