Lignano Sabbiadoro is the most famous seaside resort in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region and characteristic because it is located on a peninsula bordered by the Tagliamento River and the Adriatic Sea . Location awarded several times with the Green Flag by Italian paediatricians for beaches suitable for families with children and with the Blue Flag by the Foundation for environmental education . The beach of Lignano Sabbiadoro is eight kilometers long and is composed of fine golden sand. The beach is broad and mostly run by bathing establishments . The seabed gently slopes down allowing inexperienced swimmers to bathe in peace. Lots of entertainment for young and old at the establishments on the Riviera: play areas for children, beach volleyball courts, soccer and basketball courts and entertainment service both on the sand and in the water.

Purtroppo non viene pulita la spiaggia come negli altri siti balneari, in particolare non vengono tolte le alghe dal bagnasciuga, pulite le passerelle, sistemati gli ombrelloni e sdrai

Buongiorno, sono da diversi giorni in vacanza presso la vostra spiaggia, esattamente al bagno quattro, e ho notato che sia il personale che nei bagni, nessuno porta la mascherina, capisco all’aperto ma nei luoghi chiusi dovrebbe esserci l’obbligo,ma non ci sono controlli, spero che tutto questo non ci porti a un anno fa’

La sabbia e’ finissima, il mare pulito ma quello che mi aspetto e’ il divieto di fumo in spiaggia …. ci andiamo per respirare aria pulita e invece siamo costretti a “fumare” la sigaretta del vicino di ombrellone!!!
