Focene beach is one of the most famous in the municipality of Fiumicino, in the province of Rome. The beach is a long stretch of golden sand and has the characteristic dunes that separate the coast from the road. Focene is frequented by both families with children and by lovers of water sports such as surfing, kite surfing and windsurfing. There are nets on the beach for playing beach volleyball, tennis and soccer to entertain tourists of all ages and backgrounds. Worth seeing : the procession of the Virgin Mary, held on Focene beach every 15 August, where the statue is transported to the sea aboard the fishermen's boats .
