Cupra Marittima beach

The beach of Cupra Marittima is located in the homonymous seaside resort between Grottammare and Marina di Massignano, in the Marche region, and has been repeatedly awarded the Blue Flag by FEE Italy for the cleaning of beaches and sea in addition to the quality and quantity of services offered to its visitors. The beach is broad, about two kilometers long and composed of sand mixed with gravel and pebbles in some sections. The beach of Cupra Marittima is protected by breakwater barriers that have the function of blocking the storm surges that every year erode kilometers of our country's coastline, turning our beaches into thin strips of land. Cupra Marittima is a quiet seaside town set in the context of the Riviera delle Palme, on the Adriatic coast and is frequented above all by families with small children because its sloping seabed allows them to play safely on the shore. The beaches are well distributed between free and given in concession to the bathing establishments. North of the town there is a large stretch of beach composed of sand dunes where it is possible to admire numerous species of Mediterranean flora protected by the Piceno Marine Protected Area . During your stay you can also spend some time in the shade of the centuries-old pine forest and visit the many museums in the area. Dog-friendly : you can access some bathing establishments with your own can and while it is not allowed to take it to the free beach at certain times of the year. It is advisable to inquire before leaving at the facilities concerned whether or not they have the concession.

Ci vado spesso, il paesino è una bomboniera, piccolo e raccolto, si vive una notevole prossimità al mare. Spiaggia molto curata e pulita, va benissimo anche per chi ci va con famiglia e bimbi piccoli (come me)
