Berchida beach is an extension of the Bidderosa beach and, like the latter, has a thick and wild vegetation. Located on the east coast of Sardinia, in the territory of Siniscola, Berchida is a beach awarded with the Green Flag, a prize awarded to beaches suitable for families with children and assigned by Italian pediatricians. show more

The beach is narrow and about five kilometers long and divided by cliffs from the beaches of Sa Mandra 'e Pische and Pedra Marchesa . The sand is of fine grain and white color, the contrast with the turquoise of the sea and the green of the Mediterranean scrub behind it is remarkable and is one of its strengths. The beach of Berchida is frequented by tourists of all ages and backgrounds and given the length of its coastline it is never too crowded. Here you can relax kissed by the sun or enjoy water sports such as snorkeling because its shallow waters are crystal clear and host numerous species of flora and fauna to be admired with a mask and snorkel. Near the mouth of the Rio Berchida there is a pond, Sa Salinedda, used by sheep and cattle to drink; it is not so rare to find grazing cows resting a few meters from the shore.
