Marina di Camerota is one of the most popular resorts of the Cilento, in Campania, protected by the homonymous national park, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and awarded with the Green Flag by Italian paediatricians for child-friendly beaches. The beaches of Marina di Camerota take completely different stretches from beach to beach, passing from fine sand to gravel and pebbles to cliffs overlooking the sea. The seabed changes conformation depending on the stretch of coast; Calanca beach is frequented above all by families with small children and inexperienced swimmers due to its sloping seabed while instead the Lentiscelle beach offers deep and crystalline bottoms, ideal for lovers of water sports such as snorkeling. The beach is narrow and long and is well divided between free and managed beach . Suggestive are the small coves that offer a starting point for visiting the prehistoric caves of the area. Mare bello, pulito e servizi ben curati. Bellissime escursioni a Capo Palinuro o verso la Baia degli Infreschi. Ottima Spiaggia di Arconte.
