Located on the south-east side of the island: the sandy shore of Lipari is composed of small beaches and located near the marina Marina Corta, Marina Pignataro and on coast of Marina Lunga, interspersed with docks where you can rent boats or participate in sea excursions to admire the surrounding islets from the sea.

The sea that bathes the beach of Marina di Lipari is exceptional, although there are numerous boats regularly moored. Water takes on a color that oscillates between cobalt blue and green, depending on the solar refraction. The beach is composed of dark colored sand and gravel, reflecting the volcanic nature of this stretch of coast.

A few kilometers away from the town beach is the most famous of the island: the Canneto beach where there are also bathing establishments where you can hire chairs, umbrellas and sunbeds, as well as fun for water sports.

How to reach the beach of Marina di Lipari? With hydrofoils or ferries that depart from the ports of Naples, Milazzo, Palermo, Messina and Reggio Calabria.
