Marina di Eboli is the seaside area of the territory of Eboli, in the province of Salerno, in the Campania region. It is a charming town frequented above all by families with children because the seabed is low and sloping, making the games on the shore safe. The Sele-Tanagro Natural Reserve and the mouth of the Sele river separates it from another well-known maritime town in the area, especially due to the presence of an important archaeological area, Capaccio-Paestum .
Marina di Eboli has a very wide shoreline, eight kilometers long and composed of sand of medium-large grain with a golden color. During the summer, in high season, the turnout of the beach of Marina di Eboli increases, making the entire coast very busy and making it difficult to find a portion of the free beach where you can relax. The beach is almost entirely public, but there are some stretches given in concession to the bathing establishments, here called Lidi, where it is possible to rent equipment such as deckchairs, umbrellas and sunbeds as well as the possibility of using services such as showers, changing rooms, bars and restaurants on the sea where you can taste local dishes. Young people can spend their days at the beach playing beach volleyball, beach tennis, beache soccer and basketball or renting equipment for the sea as a pedalo and admiring the coast of Marina di Eboli from the sea. The sea that bathes the coast appears to be clean, although it is not comparable to that of the Cilento beaches or to the beaches of the Amalfi Coast . To reach the beach of Marina di Eboli it is necessary to reach the homonymous locality in the province of Salerno. You can get to Eboli by car, driving along the A3 motorway or the A30 motorway. Alternatively, the town of Campania is connected by train by the national Trenitalia company. The coast, and its beaches, are connected with the BusItalia company buses. DOG-FRIENDLY: the Bau Bau Beach Village, located in Via Romeo Romei, is a beach accessible to dogs.
