Baia delle Mimose beach
The Baia delle Mimose beach is one of the beaches of Badesi Mare, in the province of Olbia-Tempio, Sardinia. It has a beach about three kilometers long, composed of light colored sand and surrounded by sandy dunes covered with magnificent specimens of Mediterranean maquis.
The sea has an iridescent color, depending on the refraction of sunlight it can vary from cobalt blue to turquoise. The winds that pull in this corner of Sardinia allow the practice of water sports such as windsurfing and kitesurfing .
The beach of Baia delle Mimose has been awarded with the prestigious Blue Flag by FEE Italy for the quality and quantity of services offered as well as for the cleaning of the sea and the shoreline. DOG-FRIENDLY : at Baia delle Mimose is the only free beach for dogs in the whole area of Badesi Mare. Our four-legged friends will be able to access both the 300 meters long beach and the sea, as long as they are regularly enrolled in the canine registry.
