Arco Naturale Beach

Centola, SA

No reviews

The Arco Naturale beach is located near Capo Palinuro, in the province of Salerno, in the Campania region. The beach is generally considered to be one of the most beautiful in Cilento and is enclosed in a small bay with the Natural Arch of Palinuro and the Scoglio di Mingardo on either side .
The granulometry of the beach is very particular since the surface is formed by sand and pebbles that blend together. For this reason, small children may have some difficulty walking barefoot, so it is advisable to have them wear sea shoes. For this reason, those who prefer comfort and relaxation on the beach may decide to turn elsewhere and not swim in this place. It is no coincidence that even to be able to reach the beach on foot it is necessary to take a fairly long and not very easy route . Overall, the beach is very clean and well-maintained, even during the summer season, which is the most crowded one. The Natural Arch beach is called this way because it is located near this natural symbol present in Palinuro. This area is a true paradise from a natural point of view . All those who want to bathe in what looks like a Mediterranean oasis should definitely go to this place. However, the beach has some problems. For example, it is not very large and during high season it is almost impossible to find a free place. To get to the Arco Naturale beach by car, take the A3 motorway first and then continue on the SP430 road. Furthermore, you can reach the town by train, stopping at the Pisciotta-Palinuro station and then continuing with the public buses. Finally, from Naples or Salerno you can reach Capo Palinuro and the beach also through boats of various kinds.
