‘A Ficara Beach

The beach of ‘A Ficara is one of the most beautiful and suggestive coves inserted in the district of Capo Vaticano . Difficult to access, it consists of stretches of fine sand alternating with stretches of cliff. This beach is not very busy during the summer and includes points where the seabed is high. Precisely the difficulty in accessing it has meant that it was not prey to mass tourism thus preserving its distinctive features such as uncontaminated nature and an optimal cleaning of the waters. The beach is small and located between the beach Praia i Focu and Capo Vaticano, on the Costa degli Dèi and can be reached by sea with its own boats or by hire. A curiosity : the beach ‘A Ficara owes its name to an ancient fig tree plant placed at the entrance of the beach.
